Last Wednesday (11 November 2015), the office staff enjoyed fresh cut fruit as a healthy snack. As part of a new initiative set by the HR team, freshly cut fruit (papaya, watermelon, honeydew and pineapple) are delivered every other month, neatly packed in individual cups for our staff to enjoy during tea time. Fruit is naturally low in energy, fat, and salt and are also wonderful sources of fibre and many vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals - natural components in fruit and vegetables that offer health benefits beyond nutrition (Source: http://www.hpb.gov.sg/HOPPortal/health-article/2648). This initiative has been met with warm welcome, with some coming back for seconds!
