At The GMP Group, we expect our employees to conduct themselves with a high standard of professionalism and ethics in the conduct of our business and professional activities. In line with this expectation, this policy aims to provide an avenue for employees and external parties to raise concerns and offer them reassurance that they will be protected from reprisals or victimisation for whistle blowing in good faith.
Scope
Employees and external parties may report concerns relating to illegal conduct, conflict of interests, unscrupulous activities or other malpractices that are against public interest, breach of laws or regulations.
Procedures
Concerns can be raised in writing to any of the following dedicated reporting channels:
· Email to info@gmprecruit.com
· Online Form https://forms.gle/HhnZ3JHooMsY4GVC8
As it is important for us to have the necessary critical information to effectively evaluate and investigate a concern, the following information would be required:
a) Name and contact details of the whistle blower as this facilitates appropriate follow-up, investigations and also minimises the risk of malicious reporting;
b) Name of the party whom the whistle blower is reporting against;
c) Nature of the concern, including parties involved, dates or period of time and any material evidence; and
d) Other additional details that would be appropriate to substantiate the concern.
After receiving the report of any alleged wrongdoing, it will be investigated by HR team and Senior Management.
If the outcome results in a proven case of wrongdoing/malpractice and confirms the allegations, disciplinary action shall be instituted against the related employees in accordance with the company’s policy.
Protection & Confidentiality
The identity of the whistle blower will be protected and kept with strict confidentiality. All personnel, directly or indirectly working relative to a whistleblowing case, shall strictly protect the identity of the whistle blower and witnesses from unauthorized disclosure before, during and after an investigation.
The Company will not tolerate any harassment or victimisation of anyone raising a genuine concern. If a whistle blower believes that he or she is being subjected to discrimination, retaliation or harassment for having made a report under this policy, he or she should promptly report the matter to us to facilitate investigation and appropriate action.
