IT Support Engineer (End-users | Desktop)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite IT support in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate break-fix of IT related equipment with support teams in incident/problem investigation and resolution.
  • Able to identify incident trends in order to elevate incidents in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure timely case attention, resolution, escalation and closure, so that SLA is met
  • Ensure timely escalation of major and critical incidents.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Information Technologies or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant working experiences in IT Deskside, Desktop support
  • Working knowledge in experience with MS Windows Operating Systems.
  • Basic PC staging and hardware configuration & administration e.g., tablet, printer, RF & barcode scanner, Cisco IP phone etc.
  • Basic network infrastructure knowledge and smart hands support.
  • Training for new products or tools for end users.
  • Positive working attitude and willing to learn and take up new tasks as and when assigned.

  • This is on 12 months, renewable contract
