Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver quality lessons of up to 10 – 12 classes per week
- Display strong classroom delivery skills aligned to Learning Point’s suggested methodology and housestyle
- Effectively utilise teaching materials to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment that will enhance students’ learning experience
- Mark and grade students’ assignments with value-added feedback and ensure they are returned to students by the next lesson
- Perform required administrative responsibilities efficiently (attendance taking, checking students’ files etc)
- Be proactive in arranging “catch-ups” for students who missed any lessons when there are no available “make-up” classes for them to join
- Attempt to ensure that students are consistently making reasonable progress in the programme; every student matters
- Foster good relationships with students’ parents through regular written and/or verbal feedback to parents on the progress of the students as well as solutions/suggestions for parents on how they can partner with you to help the child at home
- Work together with the customer service team to provide all stakeholders with a positive customer experience and strive to minimise the withdrawal rate of classes assigned
- Attend level meetings/subject sharing sessions organised by the Company when required, to keep abreast of curriculum expectations
- Attend observation sessions and/or co-teaching sessions as arranged by the Company for training purposes
- Participate in level meetings/subject-sharing sessions when required
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree holder and above or equivalent
- Well-versed with the latest MOE syllabus
- Comfortable to use Zoom and online portal
- 2 to 3 years of teaching experience
- Strong passion towards teaching and nurturing students
- Able to commit long-term (at least one full academic year)
Other information
- Work Location: Bukit Timah Plaza, Century Square, Oasis Terraces, Parkway Centre, Thomson Plaza
- Work Days: Tuesdays to Saturdays (2 early weekdays 10am-7pm, 2 late weekdays 12.30pm-9.30pm) and 1 weekend (8am-6pm)
