Job Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise in network protocols, risk management, security standards, and regulatory compliance to analyze network traffic, identify performance bottlenecks, and proactively recommend optimizations.
  • Actively participate in network audits and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and security, while ensuring the bank’s APAC network aligns with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Lead the Network Operations team, monitor KPIs, ensure SLA compliance, and develop, implement, and enforce network operations procedures and manuals.
  • Manage vendor and service provider relationships, overseeing MSAs, SLAs, and ensuring service reliability and cost-effectiveness, while collaborating with cross-functional teams on network planning and service-related matters, including DR drills, third-party risk management, asset management, lifecycle management, privilege access management, and patch management.
  • Oversee network design and architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security, while preparing and maintaining comprehensive network performance reports for management review.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, with a minimum of 5 years experience as a Network Operations Lead or Senior Network Engineer, specializing in planning, implementation, and operations.
  • 8-10 years of experience in network planning, design, and implementation, with experience working in a banking or financial institution is a strong advantage.
  • Certification in CCNP/CCDP, ITIL, or an equivalent qualification is required.
  • CCIE certification is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, risk management, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in large-scale network deployments for enterprises and data centers.
  • Expertise in IP routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, QOS, and VPC.
  • Proficiency with Cisco, Fortinet, Checkpoint, F5, or equivalent network equipment.
  • Possess a strong understanding of network budget planning, including Capex and Opex management.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
