Job Responsibilities
Key Account Management:
- Manage business operations and inventory for key accounts, ensuring efficient processes and customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate communication between the local team, Japan team, and customers, focusing on Japanese key account representatives and ensuring smooth coordination across regions.
- Review customer requirements, identify opportunities for growth, and expand business opportunities in Southeast Asia & India (SEAI) Regions.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Participate in market research discussions with intelligence agencies to track business trends, technological advancements, price movements, and industry activities. Share actionable insights with suppliers and customers to optimize strategies.
- Analyse and report on market trends and pricing dynamics in weekly forecast meetings. Understand customer demands and relay them effectively to suppliers to ensure alignment with market needs.
Supply Chain and Procurement:
- Participate in various supply chain management projects, including support in organizing and facilitating trade exhibitions.
- Lead new supplier sourcing efforts in the electronics industry, logistics, and financial schemes ensuring competitive pricing and reliable suppliers.
- Support Factorys procurement team in Japan, including assisting in price negotiations and delivery timelines to ensure optimal purchasing conditions.
- Support in procurement processes for other group companies, ensuring alignment with overall supply chain objectives.
Process Improvement and Automation:
- Propose and implement new solutions to improve operational processes and automate workflows, leveraging appropriate tools and technologies.
- Support in preparing budget reports, analysing financial data, and contributing to the achievement and improvement of KPIs such as cash flow and inventory management.
Others:
- Conduct inventory checks twice a year, collaborating with the Sales Administration Team to ensure accurate stock records and resolve discrepancies.
- Participate in internal projects as assigned by management, providing support for various initiatives across departments or teams.
Job Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in electronics/semiconductors or trading-related industries, with strong expertise in supply chain management and proven track record of driving operational improvements.
- Proven sales record, with demonstrated success in acquiring new customers, recommending solutions, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets/KPIs.
- Preferred experience and knowledge of electronic devices/machinery to better understand technical requirements and solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of market and business trends to inform strategic decision-making and improve market penetration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Japanese to facilitate seamless communication with Japanese counterparts and stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel for business trips.
- Preferably bachelors degree in business, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- Computer skills requirement: MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and SAP are preferred.
