Our client is a reputable name in the Shipping Industry. Currently, they are seeking a suitably qualified candidate to join them as ” Asst Manager/Senior Executive /Executive (Key Account Management /NVO Sales)”.

In this role, you will be contributing in the following areas :

• Optimize business volume and profitability (NVO)
• Drive continuous growth in productivity for sales efficiency
• Achieve KPIs in both TEUs and contribution margin
• Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance customer experiences
• Develop strategic plans for negotiating and managing key accounts locally
• Maximize returns in both multiple trade lanes and contributions
• Maintain quality account business information in CRM for analytics on business KPIs such as volume, revenue, conversion rate, etc
• Develop customer segmentation strategy to augment corporate portfolio compatibility
• Actively promote e-commerce and digital solutions to steer digitalization strategies
• Assist in any other assigned duties.
   

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Maritime Studies or Shipping-related discipline with minimum 1 to  2 years  of container shipping or freight forwarding sales related experience such as : NVO sales or KAM BD experience or other sales related areas
• Also open to shipping candidates who are keen to move into sales
• Experience in managing forwarding accounts an asset
• Proven sales execution ability, problem solving and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market opportunities
• Highly motivated, result-oriented, and resilient
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in MS Office applications and experience with CRM tools
• Knowledge in Google suite apps is advantageous
