Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze user requirements, translating them into practical, business-oriented IoT solutions
• Design and develop IoT systems, including hardware selection, software integration and scalability
• Implement and optimize microcontrollers, sensors, and edge devices to ensure seamless hardware-software connectivity
• Develop pipelines for data collection, processing, and secure transmission between IoT devices, machines and systems
• Improve, manage and troubleshoot existing IoT systems to ensure performance, reliability, and uptime
• Conduct testing and validation of IoT systems and components to ensure functionality and performance
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including software developers, maintenance engineers, hardware engineers, and data scientists
• Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as required by the supervisor, demonstrating flexibility in dynamic work environments

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of experience in IoT function is preferred
• Proficient in Python
• Knowledge in IoT communication protocols (MQTT/ HTTP/ CoAP etc)
• Experience in serial communication protocols (RS232/ RS422), sockets (TCP/IP)
• Hands on experience in implementing microcontrollers, microprocessors and/or sensors (Arduino/ ESP32/ ESP8266/ Raspberry Pi etc.)
• Exposure in use of Cloud IoT frameworks (AWS IoT/ Google IoT Core/ Azure IoT Hub)
• Exposure with Edge Machine Learning, Embedded ML, and/or TinyML
