IT Outsourcing Planning & Management Specialist (Permanent, Banking Technology)

  • Plan, initiate, and drive IT offshoring projects, ensuring alignment with company goals, while monitoring progress, identifying and resolving issues, and ensuring timely milestone delivery.
  • Conduct assessments to identify offshoring opportunities, develop strategies and project plans, and implement initiatives to optimize offshoring practices, enhance productivity, and drive cost savings while mitigating project risks.
  • Manage the vendor selection process by issuing RFPs, evaluating proposals, negotiating contracts, and maintaining strong relationships with offshore vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective change management, and develop communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed about project status and updates.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT project manager, with a focus on managing offshoring projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time and within scope, with a PMP certification being a plus and a strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors, combined with strong knowledge in vendor management, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management, and a proven track record of successfully implementing offshoring initiatives to drive efficiency and cost savings.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, systems, and software development lifecycle processes.
