Roles and Responsibilities:

The Healthcare Operations Manager will be responsible for collaborating with multi-disciplinary internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth operations of both inpatient and outpatient units. The individual will play a crucial role in reviewing processes to enhance key performance indicators, optimize resource utilization, and improve overall patient experience. Additionally, the Operations Manager will contribute to the annual budget cycle, provide recommendations for CAPEX and OPEX budget needs, and track and monitor approved budgets to ensure optimal utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clinicians, nursing, allied health, and pharmacy teams to optimize the efficiency of inpatient and outpatient units.
  • Review and enhance processes to improve key performance indicators, operational efficiency, and resource utilization.
  • Assist in the annual budget cycle by recommending and justifying CAPEX and OPEX budget needs, and ensure optimal budget utilization.
  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve targets for assigned clinical services.
  • Ensure a positive patient experience along the continuum of care, implementing innovative strategies for continual improvement.
  • Lead and participate in key projects aligned with the center’s strategic work plans.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship, coaching, and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of working experience in a Healthcare, Biomedical, or Pharmaceutical environment.
  • Positive and ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Exhibit professionalism through personal accountability, effective work habits, empathy, and teamwork.
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to exercise good judgment in diverse situations, balance multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Resourceful and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
