Our client is a major Energy cum Commodities MNC. Currently, they are seeking an enthusiastic and well experienced candidate to join them as ” Post Fixture Specialist (Tanker)”.
Responsibilities :
- Handling post fixture voyage claims
- Manage invoice issuance and post-fixture voyage claims in accordance with contractual term
- Handling hires and other claims of ship owners
- Collaborate with Finance team on operational profitability, budgeting variances, and basic financial accounting
- Time charterers and pools contract management
- Voyage profit and loss analysis and reporting
- Follow up with counterparties for timely payment and keeping records of outstanding amounts
- Monitor Shipping portfolio to ensure accurate market exposure management
Requirements:
- University Degree in Maritime or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years or more relevant experience in post fixture claims with a reputed Tanker Owner, Commercial Tanker Operator, Oil Major or Oil Trader
- Experienced in financial accounting would be an added advantage
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills
- Proactive, meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility
- Team player and able to work independently
- Good communication & interpersonal skills.
