Key Responsibilities:
- Apply Business Analysis best practices to engage stakeholders across front-to-back office functions effectively.
- Lead the analysis of functional requirements derived from business stakeholders, users, and technology teams.
- Oversee requirement management and propose solution design options, guiding the team toward optimal implementation.
- Evaluate alternative IT solutions and provide informed recommendations based on feasibility and business needs.
- Leverage domain expertise to shape viable business solutions in collaboration with key business sponsors.
- Conduct in-depth feasibility studies and perform functional analysis to assess business requirements.
- Ensure delivered services align with and contribute to the overarching business strategy
- Consider future scalability and enhancements during the definition of new functionalities.
- Assess the impact of change requests, ad-hoc projects, and technical issues on functional and testing plans.
- Coordinate with user groups and interface teams to facilitate integration across various financial services.
- Collaborate closely with technical implementation teams to bridge the gap between functional and technical requirements.
- Provide functional guidance to the team, supporting developers and tech leads in resolving queries and issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst in banking IT systems, particularly in Payment Systems and Core Banking applications.
- Strong knowledge of payment systems including Clearing, ISO20022, SEPA, and SWIFT, with hands-on experience in data mapping and testing.
- Background in client referential data management or related fields such as data warehousing.

Proficient in drafting functional requirements and user stories.
- Experienced in user story validation, inter-application testing, and delivering product demonstrations.
- Solid hands-on exposure to payment systems, Payment Hubs, Clearing and Settlement mechanisms, ACH programs, and related channels.
- Comprehensive understanding of diverse payment products like TT, RTGS, LVP, Payroll, Cheques, Demand Drafts, Cashiers Orders, and Mass/Bulk payments.
- Skilled in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), as well as Functional and System Integration Testing for banking and financial applications.

- Thorough understanding of IT system development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, with strong communication and documentation skills.
- Able to distill complex concepts into clear and concise documentation and presentations.
- Strong analytical capabilities and comfort interacting with technical teams.
