Position: Trainee Air Hub Lead – Ramp

Work Week & Shift: 6 days, rotating shift

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Air Hub Lead – Ramp. As a Trainee Air Hub Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of baggage handling at our air hub. You will be responsible for supervising the baggage operations and ensuring that all baggage is dispatched to the aircraft in a timely manner, in accordance with the requirements of the airlines and aviation authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise baggage operations to ensure timely dispatch of baggage to the aircraft

Monitor and maintain the quality of baggage handling processes

Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations

Train and supervise a team of ramp agents

Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operations

Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner

Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

Diploma in any discipline

Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and manual labor

Comfortable with shift work and able to work on weekends and public holidays

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

Prior experience in baggage handling or ramp operations is an advantage

Compensation:

Locals with local diplomas: $2600 (minimum)

Monthly base salary for experienced hires without diplomas can go up to $2500 (basic)

Staff transportation provided
